Cyde Kicks: Peer Health Coaching
Peer Health Coaching is a collaborative, solution-focused, result-oriented and systematic process in which the peer health coach works with another student to facilitate the enhancement of health, life experience, self-directed learning, and personal growth. Peer Health Coaching involves in depth conversations to help students work towards a behavior change goal.
If you are looking to enhance your wellbeing and you want to work with another student to help you be successful with your goals, then peer health coaching is for you! You will be paired with a trained peer health coach who will work with you over multiple weeks to help you identify and reach your goals.
Students interested in this opportunity will enroll in the Cyde Kicks research study so that the results can be tracked and used to improve the program. Eligible students must be between the ages of 18-25 years old and within their first 2 years of study at Iowa State University. Contact Katy Southard for questions about the study at firstname.lastname@example.org.
