Green Dot at Iowa State University hosts programs throughout the year to create awareness and education that promotes being an active bystander. 



Green Dot Launch

Over 500 students, staff and faculty joined in on the FIRST Green Dot Launch event in September 2017. This event is highly engaging and full of fun, while learning ways to address violence on campus and in our community. Participants learn ways to be active bystanders by using reactive and proactive behaviors. Enjoy food, music, games. Win raffle prizes and Green Dot swag. Visit Cy at the Green Dot Photo Booth.

University Museums reACT Gallery: Green Dot Exhibit

January 22 – February 16, 2018

Morrill Hall – Monday through Friday, 11AM to 4PM

The ReACT Gallery is intended to be a safe and respectful place to express and explore reactions, opinions, and perspectives of national current event issues that are relevant to the ISU community. Green Dot Action Week

April 1 – April 7, 2018

Green Dot Action week is meant to connect the Iowa State community to action-oriented, Proactive Green Dots. Green Dot action week includes a bystander training event, online/social media engagement, film + discussions, community service, campus conversation, and Green Dot podcast. More information will be posted March 2018.

Green Dot at Iowa State thrives on connecting to campus. Green Dot has co-hosted events such as Sex in Dark to promote education around sexual health. Education on health relationships, consent, sexual health and more ARE proactive green dots.
